What if… immortality came with a price?
Volume 4 Teaser: The Rise of Homo Permanens
Previous volumes recap
Volume 1: An ordinary man crosses the ultimate frontier and embarks on an initiatory journey that takes him to the edge of his identity and the galaxy. Questions of passage, memory, and becoming take center stage.
Volume 2: Several generations later, two singular beings face the mysteries of a new environment where exploration of the world, life, and origins takes an unexpected turn. Love, lineage, and transmission intertwine with the quest for meaning.
Volume 3: The universe expands: new powers emerge, society changes, but each character’s destiny remains woven from intimate choices and collective upheavals.
Each volume reveals a facet of humanity confronted with the extraordinary, questioning life, death, mutation, and time without ever imposing a single truth.
The world has changed…
While Adam explores the mysteries of Gliese, terrestrial humanity is shifting. Ad Vitam no longer offers—it imposes.
A new species emerges
Homo Permanens: evolution or abdication?
As Adam left Earth for the planet Gliese, leaving behind a humanity in full mutation, a new upheaval looms…
Ad Vitam, an organization promising eternal life, gradually extends its grip: from individual choices, we shift toward a system where transmutation becomes the norm.
A new type of humanity emerges: homo permanens.
But in this world where death is nothing more than an old memory, can individual freedom survive the collective will to immortality?
Stay connected to follow the birth of homo permanens…
